Depending on the time of arrival, in the afternoon you will have an excursion to the Elephant orphanage and giraffe center or the Bomas of Kenya or a short shopping for Safari personal effects.

Nairobi        Samburu

Leave Nairobi after an early breakfast for Samburu, heading north, passing near Thika town as you continue north through breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. Before Nanyuki town, you will stop for Equator line Experience.

 

After Nanyuki town, continue north, passing wheat and barley farms of Timau down through the dusty town, the last major stop on the remote northern frontier region.

 

Arriving good time for freshen-up and lunch at your lodge and then depart for an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets. Overnight at Samburu Game Lodge on a full board basis.

Samburu Game Reserve

Early morning drive followed by breakfast at around 9:00 Am, then time to relax by the lodge pool or the terrace overlooking the river.

 

During this time of the day, you can see elephants and other animals come to quench their thirst in the river. The birdlife is especially notable around the lodge during the day.

 

After lunch continues with evening game drive, where you have a chance of seeing Somali ostrich, the reticulated giraffe, the gerenuk gazelle as well as other plain game and the big five.Back to the Lodge as sunsets and overnight at the Lodge on a full board basis.

Samburu        Sweetwaters

In the morning after breakfast, optional Samburu village visit and after drive to the Sweet waters camp; the luxurious thatched-roofed tents overlook a large waterhole which is floodlit by night, providing a haven for thirsty wildlife.

 

During day time at the comfort of your dining table, you can watch wild game at the waterhole as well as Mount Kenya. Sweetwaters, this is the only park in Africa that you can touch a rhino and be at close range. In sweetwaters, you will have a rare chance to see the Chimpanzees and gorillas.

 

Lunch and afternoon game drive, back at your camp as sunsets. Overnight at the camp.

Following a sumptuous breakfast, leave Sweet waters as you leave the lush highlands to descend via the magnificent Thomson's falls to Lake Nakuru national park, arriving midday.

 

Once in the park, view game en route to Lake Nakuru Lodge. Following lunch and siesta proceed for afternoon game drive returning to the Lodge as the sun sets. The national park is known for its birdlife, offers the possibility to view flamingoes. It is also home to both Black and White rhinos and the endangered Rothschild giraffe.

Lake Nakuru       Masai Mara

Following an early morning breakfast, drive through great scenic beauty and contrast as you cross the great Rift Valley to Kenya's most spectacular world renown game reserve, Masai Mara. On the way, you will have a brief rest stop at Narok and proceed on to Mara arriving in good time for lunch at Keekro Lodge.

 

After lunch and siesta proceed for an afternoon game drive returning back to the Lodge as sunsets.Dinner and overnight at the Lodge on a full board basis.

 

 

Keekorok Lodge is one of the oldest and modern Lodges in Masai Mara and as opened in 1965, it lies at the southern end of Masai Mara National Reserve approximately 281 km from Kenya's capital. It is set in the direct path of the annual migration and its an ideal place to be in all seasons.

 

At the high time of the great migration, Keekorok Lodge is surrounded by a swarming mass of wildebeest, zebras, hartebeest, elephants and all other plain game. Actually, you can relax and watch most of the game from your Lodge. In front of the lodge, there is a 300m elevated walkway that meanders through a small riverine forest to a small bar. It overlooks a dam where resident hippo and other game are regularly seen.

 

There are no fences around Keekorok and sometimes it is possible to see elephants and other animals on the perimeter of the grounds even walking by. Always there are watchmen on the watch.

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Following an early breakfast, depart for a full day game drive in this animal world national Reserve that boasts of the Big Five as well as the home to the world wildebeest Migration crossing every year.

 

Spend the day in this park which is dotted with wild animals and with spectacular and spontaneous activities, have your lunch box at the hippo pool as you enjoy the happenings at the Mara River. After lunch game drives en route to lodge as you Pay a visit in the Maasai Village for a jig with the locals.

Masai Mara         Lake Naivasha

Leave Masai Mara and travel across the breadbasket of Kenya through Naroko, where acres of wheat and barley cover the landscape along your way.

 

Pass through the capital of the Maa people Naroko in the north, down across the past plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for a herd of Giraffe crossing the roads as you head to Mai-Maihu arriving in Naivasha Sopa lodge in good time for lunch.

 

Following lunch and siesta proceed to game drive in Hells Gate National Park, with an option of cycling through this park until the rangers post viewpoint. This Park is famous for cycling and you have rare chance to cycle side by side along with friendly wildlife with stopping to get some photos along the way. Visit the go water-gouged gorges, the towering cliffs, and geothermal spa.

 

Lake Naivasha has a lot to over.

Lake Naivasha         Amboseli

Following an early morning breakfast, check out and proceed for a boat ride in this freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. The Name Naivasha is derived from the local Masai language "Nai posha, meaning rough waters" because of the sudden storms which can arise.

 

Visit the crescent island and have a walk with gazelles, giraffe, waterbucks, and zebras, while on the boat you will see hippos swimming aside and the African fishing eagle hovering above.

 

Drive through the Rift and proceed to Nairobi for an early BBQ lunch at Carnivore Restaurant, thereafter driving south Mombasa road and branching off at Emali town to Amboseli. After Emali this area you have an opportunity to spot wild animals on the way like Elephants, ostrich, giraffes, and zebras outside the park and traversing between the living areas.

 

Arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge.

Amboseli Game Reserve

Following breakfast in this Land of the Kilimanjaro, proceed for morning game drive all morning retreating for lunch break at the lodge around 12:00.

 

After lunch a siesta or swimming, followed by an evening game drive visiting the observation hill overlooking the Savannah plains, with an uninterrupted view of the Kili Mountain. Close by are the emerald green swamps which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro, making this a huge attracting feeding and source of water to all the wild animals in Amboseli, the wallowing hippos, elephants and buffaloes are among the game that you will be able to spot.

 

If the sunset finds you from this prehistoric site of the observation hill you will find it really magnificent as it is known. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Following a morning game drive, after breakfast, you can opt for a visit to the villages or take it easy at leisure at the lodge.

 

After lunch travel to Tsavo West National Park at ease, the zigzagging road takes you across the spectacular Shetani lava flow a historic reminder of the molten outpouring that spilled down the splendid and scenic slopes of nearby Chulu Hills over last three centuries. Tsavo both West and East together form the largest of the Kenyan Parks covering a total of over 21,800 Kilometers conservation area and is covered by dense shrubs and bushes.

 

Enjoy the scenery and its game as you head to Ngulia Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo West        Saltlick

Enjoy game viewing in the park including a visit to Mzima springs with its underwater glass viewing holes. Drive across as you head to Taita Hills Game sanctuary for rest of the afternoon at leisure, viewing game from lodge's underground hide or from the lodge balcony.

 

Overnight at Sarova Saltlick Game lodge. Saltlick lodge is located in the heart of a private Wildlife  Sanctuary which lies adjacent to Tsavo National Park, thus playing an increasingly important role in the protection and conservation of Kenya's wildlife heritage. This lodge is raised on stilts, providing a 24-hour game viewing opportunity from all corners of the facility. All rooms are built in two-story blocks from a central pod and linked together by elevated platforms overlooking a salt lick and a small water hole.

 

The restaurant bar and main balconies have views over the water hole and salt lick, which is constantly in use by local park residents. Dinner and overnight

Today, you depart for a day excursion in Mombasa old town which has a rich history going back to the 16th century. Visit Fort Jesus which was built in 1593 by the Portuguese and which was contested also by Arab and British.

 

UNESCO declared Fort Jesus a World Heritage site in 2011, and its now used as a museum, as a conservation laboratory an education department and primate research center. After lunch in this city, proceed to Akamba Handicrafts which is a nonprofit organization that manufactures and exports fine woodcarvings, animal sculptures, decorative accessories, and other fancy customized goods.

 

Here you are allowed to mingle freely with the friendly artists and witness the creative process and ask and see how he does. You can purchase gifts from the cooperative as you wish, later afternoon drive back through the Kenya Ferry to have a relaxing time at your beach.

Mombasa Diani Beach

After breakfast, drive at Shimoni which is 11 kilometers off the Kenyan coast and 8 kilometers north Tanzania border.

 

Visit the unspoiled, beautiful and sun-kissed, the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park by boat to see a range of endemic marine animals and breeding migratory birds, as you head to the coral gardens south of Wasin Island for snorkeling or scuba diving with our experienced scuba divers.

 

Lunch at the Island followed by sunbathing, later enjoying the Dolphins activities from your boat as you head back to your hotel late Afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
