Today we head north through the town of Isiolo through Nanyuki the home to Mount Kenya with a chance to see the peak if the weather allows.

 

Arriving in good time for lunch with a siesta followed by afternoon game viewing. Here in the Samburu National Reserve, you will see wildlife not found in the South and other Parks. The reserve also is also home to elephants and other large predators such as the lion, leopard, and cheetah.

 

Among the five here such as the elusive black rhino and buffaloes are spotted too. Wild dog sightings are also common to this protracted reserve. The Nyiro River is a big source of water to the wildlife and the crocs too.

The day is yours to explore the beauty of the semi-arid region, with its unique species of bird life. Morning and afternoon game drive.

 

Situated along the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is a lot to attract wildlife from the surrounding Savannah plains. The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk Somali ostrich, and the beisa oryx.

Samburu        Meru National Park

In the morning after breakfast visit Samburu village "optional" on your way out of the park and drive to Meru National Park through Isiolo town, arriving in good time for lunch.

 

Meru National park is located in the Mount Kenya Region. After lunch and siesta proceed for a game drive in this unarguably the greenest untamed park, with more than enough for the wildlife to feed on.

Meru National Park

Full day game drive after breakfast with packed lunch up to the Adamson's falls. Meru National Park, real wild and remote lies about 10 km north of the equator between Mount Kenya and the Nyambene Mountains some 348km from Nairobi.

 

The park forms part of a larger conservation area covering 370,000 acres including the adjoining Kora, Rahole and Bisanadi Reserves. This park has also incorporates an 85km2 Rhino sanctuary, thus making Meru one of the best destination to see many rhinos in their natural habitats. Wild and Remote, this Park was rescued from oblivion by Elsa's Kopje, an environmentalist and an award-winning, boutique lodge.

 

Explore this park famous for its large and huge elephants herds, lions, leopards and more diversity of animals and more than 400 species of birds. Meru National Park is the only National Park to allow ranger-guided bush walks, other activities include fishing and night game drives.

Meru        Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, a morning game drive on your way as you exit the park to Lake Nakuru, going up through the wheat plantations of Timau.

 

On arrival in Nakuru National park which is 188sq km game on your way to the camp inside the Park. After lunch and a siesta, you have an afternoon game drive returning to the camp at sunset.

 

Nakuru National Park is known for its flamingos and other birdlife, and also home to Rothschild giraffe, lions, black and white rhino. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Lake Nakuru        Masai Mara

After early morning breakfast, drive in Masai Mara via Mai-Mahiu Narok town with a lunch stopover. Lunch will be at the Maasai people's City of Narok after you drive to Masai Mara arriving evening.

 

Keep you eye-opening along Loita plains are a lot of game, like group of giraffe resident wildebeest, zebras, and other antelopes. In this plains, you can go out of the Safari bus and take photos, no danger of predators except the local people around to say "sopa" which is Maa (Maasai language) for hi.

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Following an early morning breakfast, depart on a full day game drive with packed Lunch ready for this day. The camp is in a strategic place and if it's in the time of the Migration you will be treated with swarms of wild animals, from predators to the plain game and the scavenger birds.

 

Masai Mara National Reserve covers 1,510 km2 in south-western Kenya and it is the northern-most section of Mara-Serengeti ecosystem which covers some 25,00km2 in Tanzania and Kenya.Lunch at Mara river with the hippos or migration crossing in action or under the African acacia tree.

 

Following your lunch proceed with the game drive as you head back to your camp. After dinner get to the campfire for storytelling among the Maasai around the fireplace.

9

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Following an early coffee and a cookie, drive to the plains and bushes of Masai Mara with a view of the sunrise and the playing of the Thomson gazelles in the plains.

 

These early game drives are the best to get to see many happenings especially with hunting by Lions and cheetah. Back to the camp for breakfast, with an optional Maasai village visit or nature walk.

 

Morning at leisure until after lunch and siesta for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

10

Masai Mara        Lake Naivasha

Following an early breakfast, leave Masai Mara and travel across the breadbasket of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley fill the landscape along the way.

 

Travel north to Narok the headquarters of the Maasai land down across the past plains on the floor of the Rift valley, keeping an eye out for a herd of giraffe as you head to Mai-Mahiu arriving good time for Lunch.

 

After lunch and siesta, you have a game drive or cycling into Hells gate National park, with the view of many wildlife on the way. This park is famous with cycling where you can stop and take photos and cycle on along Zebras, warthogs, giraffe, baboons and other plain game, spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges and belching plumes of geothermal steams makes it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa.
